Go on admit it, you have daydreamed about having sufficient money to live in a beautiful house, surrounded by trees, or by a lake, maybe close to the sea or mountains? Remember the details? There was prosperity and comforts for all your loved ones, remember? So, this is my question to you. How Do You Do Good & Get Rich?
How cautiously I write these words! Hesitant to declare that we could achieve such wealth and opulence!
Dare I use the word Money, Riches and Affluence? The land of milk and honey? For some people, they are still dirty words full of layers of shame and guilt. For others, it is just plain unattainable. Many people see it as ‘working for the man for all your life.’ And despite all the good vibrations, meditations, light and energy in this world, we are still filled with heaps of twisted beliefs and guilt about money. And, as we look around, we compare, we spy and lurk and wonder why not us? And say ….

The idea that you could be Living A Quality Life is just one big hallucination. Or is it? Could it be different?
For me, living a nourishing and flourishing lifestyle is not a dream, It is not a fantasy or something to pray for. One thing is for sure, you have to earn it. You have to do what You love, follow your passion and turn it into a service or a product that gives value and benefits to others.

Wallace D. Wattles was one of the great pioneers in New Thought. In 1910. he published ‘The science of getting rich’, a daily plan to grow wealth. He lived every page of his book and shared his wealth. This is still considered New Thinking! The idea that everyone can create wealth is not encouraged in schools. In fact, school teaches us to count money but not how to earn it. It programs you to get a job, try your best and work for someone else until…you can’t anymore.

Unfortunately, we have been brainwashed to believe that money is evil but in reality, it is the lack of money that forces so many people to do evil things. Poverty is the crime not money.

How to name it money or wealth? Money is a human created abstract form of energy. Based on trust. As we trust in the institutes which guaranties the fictitious value of it, we can learn to trust our own rights to earn it, through our own abilities, talents. As in physics, energy won’t disappear just changes, money help to create new forms for it. Our responsibilities to conduct this change in a humanly acceptable, decent way. Yes, so we all need energy to live, create, enjoy, manage life. To neglect or deny it is to ignore and refuse amazing, great possibilities of LIFE. Being an unwitting member of the ‘older generation…’ I would like to confirm, speaking as a writer, that it was a lot easier to ‘get rich in the late 40’s and 50’s… (even right up to the late 80’s). If your work was worthy enough, you received due recognition and payment. Then wholesale greed and corruption slid into the equation, narrowing the gap between rich and poor to a pitiful, and shameful degree. Of course, there will always be exceptions to the rule in all fields of work, and good luck to them. All that said…some people are very ambitious and others are plodders, and I’m in the second category, more’s the pity! (while rich in spirit!)
