Do you remember when Facebook Live was launched? It was in fact in April 2016 – just 28 months ago.  Seems like we have had access to this cutting edge platform for decades, doesn’t it? It was considered ground-breaking and avant-garde. It was and it is an ingenious piece of digital innovation. Yet, many people believe that FB is saturated, not running in the same way and introducing endless changes to the algorithms. With this frustration bearing down on those who rely on FB for business, there is a movement away from and onto other social media platforms. If this makes you uneasy, recollect that old saying; If You Don’t Succeed At First – Find Solutions!

-Entrepreneurship is the art of finding profitable solutions to problems – Brian Tracey

The good thing is the fabulous diversity of platforms we have to express, expose and extend our Biz ideas, services and products.
The drawback is there are just too many media sites. Some of us find it leads to fat finger syndrome – read carpel tunnel syndrome, (which I experienced and know how debilitating it is -) Overwhelm, fatigue, burnout, exhaustion, and the devil of them all – comparisonitis! It seems one program starts as another one ends, and visa versa!

What do you do? How do you get on top of it all? How do you find your stage, your platform your TV screen?

Now that you are sitting comfortably …. and not experiencing any of the above ailments, I thought I’d share with you my research on finding solutions.

  1. First, ask yourself: is there really a problem here? …
  2. Accept it…
  3. Ask for help…
  4. Use 80 percent of your time to find solutions…
  5. Break the problem down into smaller pieces…
  6. Find the opportunity and/or lesson within the problem…

-Identify your problem but give your power and energy to solutions – Tony Robbins

You all know that before there was toothpaste there was salt. And before there was TV, we read and talked and probably danced at home. The “wheel” gets re-invented everyday – in a different shape, colour and size.

So, Step Up & Stand Out go find your solutions.

Step One. Turn around your thinking and believe there is a solution out there with the will of a fire dragon – or whatever animal you associate with that gets things done!

Step Two. Do it. Nothing like action. Try the countdown method from Mel Robbins The 5Seconds Rule. Count down from 5. Like 5-4-3-2-1 and get up and do it. It works, there is science to prove it.

Step Three. Say Yes to every opportunity. Gain experience, learning and connections.

Remember, If You Don’t Succeed At First – Find Solutions! There is always a way to resolve a problem.
